Howdy everyone! Super quick post today...I've got a Wichita State University manicure for you to check out. In spite of the odds, they've made it to the Final Four and though I'm not a huge follower of the team, I AM a Kansan and I'm going to support them all the way through the Championship (fingers crossed!). I'm actually leaving in about 10 minutes to go watch the game so I wanted to get photos up here.
I made a decal for my thumb of the WuShock, the mascot for WSU by painting polish onto a Ziploc bag and letting it dry overnight. My index and ring fingers are sporting one of my favorite water marbles I've ever done, using Sinful Colors Pull Over and Deborah Lippmann Edge of Glory. All the polka dots were done with those two colors as well. My middle finger is adorned with the WSU logo, with a blade of wheat underneath. I'm gonna let the photos do the rest of the talking here!

ReplyDeleteI messed up a lot before I managed to get 2 of them that I felt were decent enough. I used my dotting tool a lot and a couple of striping polishes. He's kind of a weird little guy anyway, so I was able to flub some bits a little. Thanks, Liz :)

ReplyDeleteThanks, Lisa! I was pretty impressed with out the marbling came out, as I can never seem to get it to look the way I want it. I guess practicing and messing up so often pays off in the end! lol
