Hi there! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! My Wildcats pulled out a win yesterday so my mani mojo must have been workin' ;) Anyway, as it's Sunday night, I just want to keep it relaxed and easy so I've a quick swatcheroo for you all this evening. This polish is one I had grabbed for my last giveaway and I just had to have a bottle for myself. You'll see why when you see the photos!
This is Miss Universe from Essence Colour & Go. A sheer dark grey base packed with teal, green and blue glass flecks/micro glitter, MU is a real beauty.
Application was smooth and opaque in 2 coats. If you check out the full size of the macro above, you can see a lot more of the green flecks. The blue tends to show up better on my camera for some reason. In the bottle, MU has a lovely duochrome teal to purple effect that just doesn't seem to translate to the nail unfortunately. Despite that, it's still a pretty shimmery polish that's perfect for Fall's jewel-tone trends.
Essense Colour & Go polishes are also a great quality for the price. I snagged mine at Ulta for $1.99, so they really can't be beat.
